A Spiritual Fitness Center - 1 Timothy 4:7-8 "Spend your time and energy in training for spiritual fitness.
Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is much more important, for it promises a reward in both this life and the next.
"

What We Believe....

...that Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who died for our sins and arose from the dead.
(1 Corinthians 15:1-8 & John 3:16)

...that the Bible is the inspired word of God - a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path.
(2 Timothy 3:16 & Psalm 119:105)

...that every person has worth as a creation of God, but that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23)

...that forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternal life are available to those who trust Christ as Savior and Lord. (John 3:16)

...that those accepting Christ should repent of sin, confess their faith, and be baptized into Him.
(Romans 10:9 & Acts 2:38)

...that the Church is the body of Christ on earth, empowered by the Holy Spirit and exists to evangelize the lost and edify the saved. (Ephesians 4:1-16)

...that Jesus Christ will one day return to earth and reign forever as King of kings and Lord of lords.
(1 Thessalonians 4:13-18)

Email Dale

Dale grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio and still loves the Reds and Bengals (and even admits it!).  After graduating from Cincinnati Christian University, he married his wife Marilyn (who also graduated from CCU).  They have 4 boys, Jordan, Spencer, Taylor and Trent.  Dale spent his first 11 years after graduating in youth ministry.  In December of 1994, he came to Northfield as the preaching minister.  He loves to watch almost any sport and plays racquetball regularly.  His top passions are spending time with his family, helping people find Christ, and then helping them develop into fully devoted followers of Christ.  He considers preaching the most important part of his job.

Youth Pastor

Brad Sheldon has been youth minister at Northfield Church of Christ since March of 2002.  He graduated from Crossroads College (formerly Minnesota Bible College) in 1996.  His passions outside of the church include the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Indianapolis Colts, almost any sport, and music – both listening to it and playing the guitar.  He loves to find ways to combine those passions with ministry.  One of his personal goals is to help guide youth in their walk with Christ so they don’t give up on their faith after High School.

Jesus and Child

Matthew 18: 3-4

Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

For the wages of sin is death
